Wool Painting Workshop

  • Kawartha Settlers' Village 85 Dunn Street Bobcaygeon, ON, K0M 1A0 Canada (map)

What is Wool Painting?

Wool painting is the process of using wool, silk, locks and other natural fibres to create a picture. There’s no paint, no brushes, just fibre and needle. Small amounts of wool are layered upon a felt sheet and secured into place with a fine barbed needle. The poking of the fibres with the needle secures them into place. With endless colours and textures, the possibilities are endless.
