A (Musical) Midsummers Night’s Dream
This summer join Driftwood Theatre for theatre under the stars as we celebrate the 25th season of the Bard’s Bus Tour with William Shakespeare’s most magical, musical comedy A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Driftwood Theatre is for everyone in Ontario, no matter where you live or how much money you have in your pocket.

Join Kawartha Settlers’ Village and the Boyd Heritage Museum for a stroll through local history, with an emphasis on the “spooky!” We will meet in the parking lot at the Village then head over to start the tour at the Verulam Cemetery then return on foot to Kawartha Settlers’ Village for the second part of the tour. Age discretion is advised.

A body discovered, and suspects abound. A pistol, a haunted theatre, ghosts!? It all seems suspicious. What we need now is a detective, and it turns out there is more than one in attendance. Can you solve the crime?

We invite all KSV Members to join us for the 2019 AGM on May 9th at 7pm at the Henderson House. Not a member? You can join on our website or if you prefer you can contact the office and we can email you a form and you can drop it off at the village or you can stop by the office and purchase one directly.
If you are a member and are not able to attend the Annual General Meeting on May 9th at 7pm you can complete a proxy form which will give someone who is able to attend permission to vote on your behalf at the AGM.
You can download the form below, print it and return it to the office in person or print it, fill it in and either fax it to the office 705-738-6163 (please call ahead to let us know you are faxing it) or scan and email it to the office firstname.lastname@example.org The completed proxy form must be received in the office before 2pm on Wednesday May 8th.

Once the snow is melted and as the grass begins to turn green, you know spring has sprung! Help Kawartha Settlers’ Village shake off the cobwebs during Clean-Up Day on Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
We’re inviting the whole family to come out and join us for spring cleaning! Help us rake the lawns and open our buildings as we prepare for the 2019 season! Lunch will be provided.
Have a high school student looking to complete some community service hours? Join us and get a couple hours in while spending time outdoors!
Note: Anyone interested in additional hours or volunteer opportunities can join us daily from 9am-4pm, April 23rd - 26th as we start the clean-up process.
